Mark VandenBosch: The Artist Formerly Known As Mark-5

I, Mark VandenBosch, The Artist Formerly Known As Mark-5, will be performing tonight, Friday November 30th. at The Wild Rover at 10 p.m. I am opening for The Drone Wolves.

My set will be about forty five minutes of solo work, originals and covers. Then my friend Tim Rundman will back me up on drums and we will play our, The Band Formerly Known As MOMB, set, which may last for about one half of an hour.

Then The Drone Wolves will play.

Then at about midnight or one a.m. I will leave the bar and go home so I can sleep.

See you there!

Mark

Sparrow Tree is playing at the Wooden Nickel in Marquette, MI on December 14th.

Here's the poster I made for the show.  I used some paper from a banana box.  You can see an image of the molecule ATP.

Be well,

Shadow Arcade and Harold(Harry) South

Two new posters. The image of the phone pole and trees finally got used for Shadow Arcade.

Troy has me onto some more posters too.

My friend Harry is having his senior recital for his Bachelor of Music degree at N.M.U. at the end of the month and he asked me to make a poster for him. Here it is. I used a Dixon  #2 Ticonderoga HB, my favorite pencil. Many school doodles were made with one of those. Also, I remember one of my band directors, Mr. Staudacher really liked that pencil. We even played some work called Ticonderoga if I remember correctly.

This memory is ironic because Mr. Staudacher played bass and Harry is having a bass recital.
