Split Rock Lighthouse, Minnesota

Here is a commissioned work I completed yesterday.  My friend, Jeremy, had me make this image which he then gave to his lady friend as a gift.

I used a variety of sources: an image from a book, my sketches of water, some rocks I found on my porch and yesterday's clouds.

I used a Derwent 2B pencil. The paper is vellum Bristol board.

I learned a lot from this project and I feel fortunate to be doing this work.
